I’m a visual storyteller, based in San Francisco. I do photography with and without a camera.
I was born and raised in Mexico, as an immigrant living in the United States, the fictional and visual stories I build reflect on issues of adaptation, uprooting, memory, and grief. I feel a great attraction for nature, its processes, and its history. Through it, metaphorically, I try to answer the complex relationship we have with our environment, thus hoping to be able to attend, understand and narrate my own story.
My work is based at the intersection of installation, sculpture, photography, and publication.
